Park is tired
By user-5226683... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed only one night. Site backed up to big pond/lake. If you wanted to hook up your water (site 16), you'd have to use vice grips to turn it on. Rest room (men's) had really moldy showers. Get what you pay for $14. It was better than a Wal-mart parking lot though.

Older Park
By user-5673354... on 2017-10-23.
Older Park but nice concrete pads, picnic tables on same. Some RV sites on the small lake also have very nice tenting spaces incorporated into the same site!! Wonderful breeze the evening we paid just to fill our fresh water tank on 06/07/2017. Bathhouse could use some TLC or updating. Thanks!!

Marginal

Over zealous barney fife rangers. Saw them call in 3 cars of rangers over 1 poor man doing nothing but fishing sitting on a bucket. Rude rangers. Courtesy is dispensed according to how much you are spending. Use only as a last resort.

Leafy, waterside camp close to town
By user-5681514... on 2018-05-17.
We had a lovely lakeside site with power, water, grill and firepit. Lots of space, and just a faint sound of trains in the distance. Close to the I55 but very peaceful after a day on the road. Bathhouse was basic but adequate...nice hot water..what more do you need! No sewer at sites but dump station on site.

Older park in town on pond/lake. Water/electric, dump site in park. Bath house was cleanish. Good place for an overnight or two.

Beautiful!

Stayed 2018-09-20 to 2018-09-21
This park is beautiful!!! Definitely not new, but the setting is wonderful. This was a stopover site on our way home from Gulf Shores, so we only stayed one night. Would have stayed longer if we had time. Nothing fancy, very rustic, but beautiful! Our site was water/electric only but there are sites with sewer

Best for short stays, somewhat small for our size
By user-4674336... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-09-10 to 2018-09-11
We arrived 1 hour before check-in and no one was in the booth. Our gate code did not work. Thank goodness a camper staying that day had the day's code. Roads are pretty windy, sites were back-in only. We needed a few boards to get level. Sites are really not designed for large Class-A motorhomes. Water and electric. Dump station on site.

If u have business in Jackson location is great. Yes, facilities dated & showing age but Mrs. liked the hot shower & pressure. Not sure why trail to playground prohibited bikes, so kids would have to walk to playground.
Looks like area floods easily, so have a backup in mind.
