Although it us a beautiful property Leisure Lake lacked the welcoming of other campgrounds. it was more of a sterile compound feeling. we were give a soggy campsite when drier sites were available. It was also extremely difficult to find because they didnt have adequate signage. It just wasn't very friendly we did not feel comfortable there.

Lots of fun they had a dance and pig roast , one thing that you should know they close at 7pm so get in on time it's pet friendly and kids have a lot of fun and the guy they say is rude is just doing his job you can't go to Walgreens after its closed and say I want to shop lol so yes he may be rude about that cause he works from early morning and needs a close time , and yes you must follow the rules or else but I guess that's why we all feel safe cause they don't allow any riff riff in the place so at least we know our kids and family are safe

Needed a place to camp for the night as a last minute stopover. Called at 7:42 and the gentleman told me they were closed for the night. If they would've posted their hours on their crappy website I would not have bothered him.

Even rude on the phone...I will stay elsewhere even if it costs more...

| Rude, but OK.

We stayed here in April. One man was rude, but another Lady was nice. Park facilities were OK. The park is difficult to find the first time. GPS really helped. We stayed 4 nights. It is right at the I-80 & I-55 interchange. It is very convenient for visiting in the area.

Nice campground. Free miniature golf and paddle boats. My only complaint is the dusty gravel roads and very poor wifi.

I don't know about the previous comments but we thought it is a little gem! Staff very nice. Campsites are clean and roomy. Bathrooms not bad. So much to do. Great for families!

A large RV park right at the I-55 and I-80 interchange. The location makes it an easy 30 minute drive into downtown Chicago. The sites and roads in the park are all gravel with a picnic table and fire pit at each site. The majority of the sites are back in. The park has a lot of amenities for the family starting with the lake at the center. They have fishing piers, boat rentals, a swimming area and beach, separate swimming pool, mini golf, horseshoes, volleyball and more. The laundry is small for a park of this size, but decent. They offer wifi and it was usable. The park clearly caters to full time/long term residents, but the sites are still clean and not cluttered.
