We pulled in on a Sunday evening in July to this little state park a little more than an hour from the Ohanapacosh entrance to Rainier N.P. - and we had our pick of the eight RV hood-up sites to choose from. As of 8:30 it looks like we may be the only ones staying the night. It is a rustic campground, with just the basics - water, electricity and sewer. It is located just next to the secondary road, Jackson Highway, but it seems it will be quiet enough. We haven't explored the trails in the park, but the chance to be near the old-growth is promising.
The Campground is very cosy, quite, well maintained and very clean. We had a prefect stay there in the midst of the woods.
