This small, older campground does not have many amenities, but you can't beat the location. Many spots are right on the ocean and you can hear the ocean from the back row. There is a sand and pebble beach steps away. It's very dog friendly too.
The owners are very friendly, and the area is spotless. Not cheap, but the sites are immediately on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Water, sewer, 50A service for $110 or as we selected, $65 one row back. Showers and toilets. Small area with few additional amenities.
I have always wanted to park Oceanside. It was amazing. Very relaxing. I gave it a 4 stars because when we arrived our site was full of dog feces and goose poop. I would have expected that sites would have been clean on opening day. I borrowed a rake and cleaned it myself. Many of the other campers appeared unhappy about the lack of site prep. THere weren t a lot of sites taken. So at least to have prepped the ones reserved would have been a plus. Bathroom/shower was clean but only one shower. But maybe most use their own shower. Could be an issue during prime season. I m sure we would return again sometime. Price is high but you have to pay if you want Oceanside.
