If you're a first-time visitor, be advised that many camp sites are not flat. None are paved, but do have some gravel for parking. If possible, check sites before final selection or your feet will be higher than your head. A very popular park with tri-state locals, so make a reservation for weekend camping.
This place is great for everyone! Lots to do with swimming fishing paddle boats nature center etc! Nice sandy beach! Our favorite place to camp!
Love to camp here. Plenty of fishing. Paddleboat rentals. Lots of kids and bikes on weekends. Lake has a nice beach for swimming access. Plenty of shade or sun sites.
This park is close to Holiday World...which is great. They charge a $9 entrance fee to get into park on top of the $30 for site with electric. Must back in to most sites...and as noted prior...sites are not all level.
This place is very woodsy and beautiful. Very close to holiday world and MUCH less expensive. The lake and trails are nice, and the whole park is very wooded and relaxing. The drawback- dumpstation only, no sewer on sites. All sites have at least 30amp (some 50) and all have water. 90% are gravel, but a few handicapped sites are paved. Overall it s a great relaxing, quiet place. It would be a slam dunk if it had full hookup sites.
