We camped here in a 30 ft. 5th wheel. The sites are level with some grass. We did not use the facilities. It could use WiFi. Quiet. Make reservations; we were lucky to get in. There were a lot of seasonal spots.

We have camped here several times over the past few years. The campground backs onto the Red Deer River, and is located within 1/2 kilometer of Downtown Red Deer. Most RV sites are fully paved, all have a picnic table and 30 amp power with full hookups. A few new sites have 50 amp power but they are not paved. The large trees and well manicured grassy areas add to the beauty of this campground. It is well managed with a no nonsense approach to partying. Gates are closed with a password provided for you gain entrance. There is a separate area for tenting. The camp has a country feel even though it is located in the city. The only things that brings the rating down is lack of wi-fi and no store or community centre. NOTE from June to the end of August Most weekends the campground is PACKED. Book ahead as the overflow areas are getting very packed.
