Got in just as owners where leaving, they turned around and opened office up to register us and had us park in site 1 because we where leaving early in am. Owners very nice, campground very nice.
It's right off the interstate. Perfect for those traveling and not wanting to go too far off beaten path. Office was closed when we got here and didn't open until after we left. But they do have info & drop off box at front office. Very convenient. Only thing I didn't like was the light in shower house/ bathroom is on timer (motion detection). It went out while in shower.
We stayed last night and loved it....great RV sites, pool was refreshing and clean....nice clean bathrooms and showers.....friendly and helpful employees and the owners.....we will stay again, next time we are in the neighborhood!!!!
Some sites are right along highway and very noisy 24/7. Quite a hike to get to showers. Well taken care of, but use only in emergency.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots in back are on hills was not comfortable with lot. Lots are grass and gravel. Would look for another campground.
We camped in an RV for 1 night. Bathroom and shower extremely clean and nice. Sites are long but not very level. Price is very reasonable. Also has nice pool for kids. Animal friendly as all the neighboring campers had dogs. Would stay here again
West liberty campground is now called Little Bear Campground It's very close to I 80 and it's very loud, the camp is very small and no one was here to greet us when we arrived even though it was early, had to self register via drop box. It has a Nice pool and very clean bath, showers and laundry room. Would I stay here again maybe but not likely.
We stayed here May 10, 14 site 1. A young couple has purchased the campground from the little old lady that had it. They are working very hard to get the campground back in shape. I didn't find it to be noisy. It is a great little campground, and we would stay here again.
Staying here for 3 months. Very clean, family owned, near a nice town to grocery shop, clean pool, shower house and restrooms. People are very nice and laid back. Pet friendly and has large pet bathroom area. Large playground for families with kids. Fire rings and picnic tables at each site. No BBQ pits on sites. Staying here so I can work in a nearby town. Tent sites and cabins available. We stayed in a fifth wheel. We are from Louisiana. Very helpful and friendly office staff.
Great Park for an overnight. Pull through sites with full hookups and 30 or 50 amp. People who run the place are real nice. Roads are gravel and real dusty.
Read the great reviews so we stopped. Sun. No one here sites muddy need gravel,both washers broke, wifi won't connect had to get out my extension to reach electric box
This park is not closed. Stayed for two nights good utilities, clean and well maintained.
We have stayed at West Liberty on our way West or coming home for over 20 years. First as KOA, then and now as independent. Nice, knowledgeable, friendly owners and a clean park.
We stayed almost two weeks in late September 2015 and it was great. Even with the highway close by it was quiet. Will stay here again.

Easy on/off I-80, but you'll get some traffic noise, but not that bad. We layed over while getting service just down the road at HWH. Park is well kept, very clean restrooms, wifi that works! Park manager, Mike, will work with you for whatever you need. Nice park, enjoyed our stay.
Found this campground after leaving the park we had reserved because it was unacceptable. The owners could not have been nicer or more accommodating of our last minute call. We were in a pull through site for 3 nights & would have enjoyed a longer stay. Well kept & maintained little park. We stayed in July & plan to stop again on our return trip in late Sept or early Oct. We stayed in our 35 foot motorhome & tow a car.
Former KOA made nice stopover a short drive from HWH service facility. Neat clean and with apparently brand new bathrooms. We didn't find token hwy noise an issue.
This park is exceptional. Great sites, pool, killer wifi, super nice people. Great price $26 with veteran's discount. If I didn't have a home base already, I'd be begging for a monthly. What a wonderful place to decompress after being on the road. Don't pass this one by. I can't say enough good things about this place.
We stayed here 05/29/18. It was an easy find right off I-80 West. Very nice park with big grassy lots. The owner Mike is a very nice guy and extremely helpful with information about where to eat/shop. This park has a pool and it’s kept very clean and in good shape.
Stayed overnight before HWH appointment. Good for overnight, it had rained a lot prior to arrival and so MH got a bit muddy ... but other than that, fine. Utilities were fine.
This place is right off of the interstate. Also, a gas station with a large parking lot is literally next to the camp. Nice level sites, and very well-kept.
Stopped for overnight. Very nice folks at the desk. Nothing special but everything seemed clean enough. I liked that they figured the price so it would come out to $32 even.
Unlevel spots, office not manned, must leave by 11:00, was not that accommodating..wont be back.
I have seldom been treated so well. I stopped in after hours and paused at the entrance wondering if it would be ok to just pick a spot for the night. The park manger drove out and met us...he then took me in His cart and showed me potential sites. Great customer service is awesome to see and experience. Thanks guys..I'll be back
Conveniently located off interstate. Owners friendly and very helpful. Pet area, playground and pool were nice touches. Took an unexpected walking tour of Herbert Hoover's home and gravesite.
Nice campground right off interstate 80. Clean and friendly. Would stay again.
Lovely little park off I80. Traffic noise not too bad. A little dusty. Well looked after. Nice big shade trees. Nice pool. Welcoming owners. Did not use their rest rooms. Would definitely stop here again.
I was 2 hours away when I called to see if they had a space for the night ( 31ft class A ) and he said sure come on in that he would be closed but he would be there. Sure enough I arrived about 5 min after closing and he was there on his golf cart and lead me in. Excellent spot in front of the pool. Easy in and out, everything clean and neat, very nice gentleman. $33 with my good Sam's.

Level gravel sites surrounded with grass and mature trees, Most sites have shade. The pool is great! Best Wifi I have ever had from a campground or RV Park...could stream Netflix. T-Mobile and Verizon both 4G. Close to freeway, but no too noisy
