We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night and the campground was very quiet. There is a good percentage of the sites occupied by seasonal campers, most of whom were not there during our stay, but the sites are kept nice. We had a problem with our electrical hookup when we first set-up. I called the office and they were there to address it within minutes. They were not able to resolve the problem immediately, so they offered to have us move to a newer upgraded site at no additional charge. We did and they even gave us complimentary firewood for our troubles. Anyplace can have a problem. How they respond to it is what separates the good from the not so good. Little Mexico Campground did an excellent job of resolving the problem for us. Our sites were roomy and pretty level, grass and dirt. Cable got seven channels. Verizon voice service was barely one bar most of the time. The Campground WiFi was spotty. I had to keep re-signing-on to the campground network. The roads throughout the campground are dirt with some gravel. This makes for some dust in the summer. Speed limits were posted at 5 mph to minimize the dust. The setting for the campground is very nice as it is right on Penns Creek. The majority of the sites are well shaded with mature trees. Restrooms and showers were OK but could use upgrading. The camp store has all of the essentials. We stayed in a 25 foot motor home. We would go back.
