| Sandy camp sites
We stayed one night on our travel home. The locate is very remote. No cell or wifi service. The sites are just sand, so it was messy. Glad it wasn't raining. The lake is dry because the dam broke and drained it. It was very quiet. If you are looking to unplug and get away, this is a good spot.

Nice little spot. Definitely a remote location. Do your shopping before you get out here. The bathrooms are dated but cute and clean. The sites are sand/dirt but with leveling blocks they were fine. Nice tree coverage for hammocks and shade. Unfortunately the lake is still gone but the Ranger did mention that they are currently working on getting the dam back up and running. Really can’t beat the price for hook ups and a peaceful place to rest. The great outdoors!
