Nice remote state Park located on Little Pine Creek and about 3 miles from Pine Creek and Waterville. Our visit was during a severe drought, so the creek was extremely low and poor trout fishing...small mouth bass though. Firewood available, plus a dump station (both which we did not use). Only gave it 3 stars because of limited sites for large vehicles with pets...having dogs restricts you to smaller sites by the creek that are very uneven. The large, long level sites are by the bridge and do not allow pets. This should be changed, or have add Pet sites to this area. Be aware: No cell signal whatsoever in thus small valley. One bar can be obtained driving back the 3 miles to Waterville at the general store. Also, Rt. 44 and 414 both had weight restrictions for trucks...10 tons, and there was major road construction on 414 north of Slate run...7' WIDTH VEHICLE RESTRICTION!! We could not go north this way with our motorhome to see the Grand Canyon. Disappointed.
