Large shaded lots off the water. They even have laundry facilities!
Nicely spaced sites. Restrooms clean and modern. Sites are level too!
Very well maintained, a bit off the Interstate path but well worth the extra miles. Very reasonable rates are even more reasonable with a Golden Age Passport. Run by the COE with volunteer and civilian staff all extremely helpful and hospitable.
Large, level sites. Open land all around. Quiet. Even has a heated comfort station (restroom/showers). Such a treat during chilly months. Really inexpensive especially with the SR Pass. Well managed. Clean. Friendly. Great hiking nearby.
We loved it so much the first time we had to stay again. Some sites have a view of Belton Lake and some have lots of shade. The showers were very clean. There is a laundry room near the entrance. There is a security gate too. There was a great playground for our kids to run around. They have water, electric, and a dump station. There is also a boat ramp but due to recent flooding, it was not accessible.
Right on Belton Lake. To winding for kayaking while we were there, but nice area for sight seeing. Also, across the main road is Miller Springs Nature Area with many hiking trails. The park itself is beautiful and due to the lake we had a nice breeze every day.
We had a lovely spot #39- the Camp hosts were friendly & the camp was kept immaculate! Plenty of trees for shade on the spots not on the lake. Picnic Tables, BBQ & firering are an added bonus! The bathrooms & showers were very nice & very clean- this is an real find & I hope be back!
