Great little state park right on the river. The entire park was just redone with all sites repaved, new water service, and new 50 amp electric. RV size should be limited to under 35 ft or less. Nice host and restrooms. Quite and only nine miles from downtown Brookings, OR. No dump station on site, must go to Brookings and use free dump at Harris Beach rest stop area on East side of holy 101
Nice spot. Walk up only so you take your chances but once you have a spot you can stay for 2 weeks. Clean spots. It is near the river. Some spots have a river view. Most spots have shade and sun. Walking trail nearby from Day Use area. Firewood can be purchased on site. It would be nice if it had a dump site but Harris Beach is not far for a free dump. This is my 2nd stay in 2 months. I did not use the restrooms. FYI Sp 31 is a large site. It has no shade and table and tent area is on opposite side of door.
