It was a rainy, foggy day when we arrived at Loft Mountain, but the staff was upbeat and helpful. We were allowed to drive through the park to choose our site. Each site has a curved, paved driveway and a large private picnic area. It's a good design, but each pull-out was a little too tight to line up on the pavement. We have a pick-up truck pulling a 21" trailer, and it was hard to park it on the curve. The sites are a bit close, but once you get settled, you are facing very nice enclosed picnic area. Rustic and beautiful area!
We were greeted nicely and had reserved online. Everything was nicely mowed. We were so high up we had 2 bars on phone service. We saw some wildlife. Fall colors were lovely. We camped 3 nights along the skyline in our truck camper.
