We arrived late with no reservation. Sign said take a map and pick a site, so we did. They put a note on our window at some point advising us to check-in, which we did. Nice large spots with grass (dead grass this time of year) in between sites. We didn't get to take in the park due to our late arrival and then just leaving. Train tracks are very close and we did have one go through around 10:00 at night. Horns could be heard off in the distance as well during the night but not too bad. Couldn't access wifi, not sure if we didn't get a key step to login because we didn't speak with anyone when we arrived. Good AT&T LTE service. Would like to stay here again and spend some time and visit the town.

| Very nice

Was there for 3 weeks because of work. The park is quite with easy in and out. The employees are nice and very helpful if you have an issue. Full hok ups and lots of nice trees. I used the laundry area once it was clean and had hanging racks and folding tables which were very nice to have. Good doggie park that was kept clean and mowed. I will stay here each time I'm in the area.

Stayed overnight while driving to east Texas. Very clean and friendly park with lots of trees. Nice pull through sites, gravel, and level. It was a very convenient location. Definitely would stay again.

Well maintained. Level gravel sites. Nicest restroom / shower set up we've seen. Only a minor issue, the water faucet is below ground level

We stayed here one night in a 5th wheel. Sites are roomy pull throughs with conveniently located utilities. Wifi didn't seem to work very well, but everything else was fine.

Lost Alaskan is a good RV park. Good, clean facilities and nice and peaceful. Alpine is a nice town and I recommend the park!

Excellent park. Friendly, courteous staff. Great area. Would have gave it a 5 star but while advertising Good Sam park, owner will not give discount if business is good. Happened to be Cowboy Poetry weekend,

We stayed in a pull-thru gravel site that had plenty of room for our 42' 5th wheel and truck. (C13). Looks like the park has a few full timers staying here. The Laundry and Bathrooms/Showers are very nice and clean. You are allowed to wash your vehicles for a small few if need be. The wi-fi isn't good at all, but my cell phone had great coverage. Park is close to 3 towns and there is a lot to see and do in this area. Would stop again.

We have been spending the month of October every year at the Lost Alaskan. Great amenities and helpful staff. It is only two miles from the Sul Ross State University and all their activities. RVers are welcome on campus including in the cafeteria and the library. You like rodeos? Sul Ross hosts the largest intercollegiate international rodeo in the fall.

| Great Place!!

We stayed here for 3 nights & loved every minute of it. It was a great location to stay for the things that we wanted to do. The rates are reasonable, their facilities are spotless, no noise at all and the people who run it along with their staff were awesome!! We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area. The town of Alpine is really a neat and clean place, too. Loved our stay

One of my newest and favorite. Just a comfortable park. Spent a week there during Cowboys gathering the last weekend of Feb. They work at keeping it clean and well maintained. Not large lots but adequate and good view. Great staff- friendly.

| Don't Come For The WiFi

Pros: Quiet, well-kept park. Sites are large enough for the biggest rigs. Water pressure is regulated at 40-50 lbs. and works quite well. Cons: WiFi: when it works, it is extremely slow. Laundry: either washers don’t spin properly or the dryers are weak. We had to run the dryers twice and apparently this is known to the park management. The main showers and laundry are centrally located which encourages people to walk through other’s sites to get to them. Other: When I called to make the reservation, I specifically asked for confirmation via email or text and was told it would be sent “shortly”. I never got it. When I called the following day to confirm I asked again for confirmation via email or text, which I never received. I sent a request for confirmation on their website contact form and never received a reply. The moral of the story seems to be that their communication skills need improvement. The park also blacks out the month of March regarding the Good Sam discount. This is not allowed by Good Sam per their agreement with the park. So-called “Premium” sites cost more but differ from regular sites by having a cement sidewalk and patio and a 3-foot fence along the side. They are not any bigger. Paying extra for a premium site is definitely not worth it. We stayed in a 35’ motorhome.

| Guess they don’t want any customers

By user-6646755... on 2018-05-17.

I get that it’s a semi-slow time. I also get that they want the “one on one” phone experience. Tried calling on a Saturday. Never went to VM. Tried to call again on a Monday. Got VM this time but no one has called back. Sent an e-mail and nothing back from them. So, I’m guessing they don’t need any one to stay there! Gave one * but not even a good website makes up for very poor customer service.
