Please call and make a reservation if you need a full hook up. There are only 5. Plenty of primitive camping. 2 Yurts. Quiet clean.

We were spending 1 night in June 2017. As I booked a reservation online, I did't get really out of that, because this is also an equestrian campground. But I did what I think it may be right. As we arrived, I told that I have a reservation. The very friendly employee at the entrance mentioned, that I've a reservation for a horse stable, not for a RV. But then he decided to call his Boss and make possible, that we could in onto a normal RV space with full hook-up, although the campground was full. Bathrooms were clean, there is plenty space between each slot and the lake is fantastic. Thanks again!

After traveling the US for 3 years and NEVER having to wait till the exact posted check in time at over 100 RV parks, we finally come home to Delaware and our local state park makes us wait outside the gate till check in time. Can't wait to leave this state.

I had some visiting to do in Philly and there was no way in heck I was taking my RV anywhere near that city so I found this park on this app. I reserved 2 nights online and the rate was $40 per night. I ended up staying a third night and that was $49, not sure why. It was Monday thru Wednesday. All sites are back-in, and I have a tow vehicle. The camp road is narrow, so I actually held up traffic (one car) while I was unhooking. Use the Lum s Pond Campground address (Red Lion Rd) in your GPS and not the Lum s Pond State Park address (Howell School Road). I saw that another reviewer said that only about 8 sites have full hookups, but all of them that I saw did. They all looked level, too.

Very nice state park, with paved FHU sites. Lots of trees and the pond is close by, I saw kayakers and folks fishing although I didn't. Signage getting to the place is sketchy, the road signs do not tell you to turn onto on to Red Lion Road and you have to travel about a mile or so down that road to see the entrance sign. Otherwise, no complaints. Nice shower and bath facilities and they are building a new laundry/store building. Nice paly ground equipment for the little kids.
