Great place with terrific hosts! Nice lake with camping all around it. Really nice atmosphere with beautiful groomed grounds.

we wanted to stop at the closest campsite to the Canadian Border, but could not get verification that they had a site available, so we decided to stay at the KOA, which was a few extra miles away. Very friendly staff, very clean and nicely decorated, plenty to do at the KOA (two small lakes with fishing and paddle boats, spaces level and full hook ups, laundry was a little expensive, but we needed to get it done, machines were in great shape, so have to take that into consideration. They have propane, but not pump to put in motor home, just to fill tanks. One of the cleanest and best decorated KOA campgrounds that we have stayed at.

Another example of a has-been KOA. The nice sites in the front are short and narrow with 30 amps-only hookups. We reserved and paid for a 50 amp FHU pull-thru site weeks in advance. They changed it without notice or reason to a smaller 30 amp site. After trying to set up our under 35 foot long motorhome in the small site, I noticed that it was only for 30 amps. I had to walk to the office to ask what happened when my printed reservation papers said full hookup 50 amp pull-thru site. The manager said that their "optimization system" switched me after the fact to 30 amps without notifying me. She said at this point no 50 amp pull-thru sites were available. She gave me a back-in site in the seedy area far to the back by the RV storage sites. The sewer port at that site was higher in elevation than the site, so proper drainage was not possible. This is not a place for modern class A motorhomes.
