| OK for the price in this area

This is a fairly quiet, older, well maintained campground that is just a campground with no extra activities. 1.3 miles south of I-75 exit #337 on Mackinaw highway. Most lots are pretty spacious pull thrus, allowing us to park our 34ft fifth wheel sideways, parallel to the road, thus freeing up extra space for our son and his wife's tent this weekend for the Bridge walk. 30amp(with at least one 50 amp site), water hook-up, picnic table, and fire pit on each site plus a dump station. Most sites have good shade trees, with a large open field that may be for tent campers. It's less than 2 miles south of Mackinaw City which makes the $20 fee($130/week) quite reasonable, considering all other rv parks in the area are at least $25-$50. When you're going to be spending all your time in Mackinaw City or on Mackinaw Island, all your looking for is a place to spend your nights close by. The slight drawbacks are low water pressure, 40 psi, and low voltage on the 30 amp hookups(111 volts with the park half full on a warm day with air conditioners running). We'll see if the voltage or water pressure gets any worse this Labor Day weekend when the park is full. Park wifi is weak but usable some of the day right now with the park half full. Dish satellite reception is a little iffy on many sites due to tall cedar trees on most sites, though we were able to find a narrow opening that worked. Overall it satisfies us for the purpose of a reasonably priced, nearby place to sleep at night.

The fee is now $20. It has fire pits and firewood water and electric. it is the end of May and the mosquitoes I really bad. So we could not enjoy the fire pit. but the actual campground is fine it has a nice little creek they call Rainbow River.
