Literally a parking lot on gravel, no table, no space for one anyway. We were squeezed between seasonal tenants. Internet was crappy. The washrooms and showers were in good conditions though. Noise from trains very annoying.
This park was near where we needed to be. The staff was courteous and fit us in during peak season. The sites were small you had to park your vehicle where you would normally sit. 50 amp service, water and sewer were well placed and are sitelilite friendly. Didn't utilize the cable, laundry, shower or pool. The heat biggest downside is it located next to a composting facility and the odor of manure abounds. You are also located near training tracks and will hear several trains per night. We stayed in a motorhome.
This is mostly a trailer park but with an RV park off to one side. It is very close quarters and usually packed when in season. There are a lot of full time summer residents but we are here in Nov. and the crowds are gone. The staff is excellent and welcoming but they do not accept credit cards so a check is OK. We have visited a number of times when we needed a location close to Tacoma and/or its suburbs. The view of Mt. Rainier (or the short drive to it) is excellent from just outside the park. We have stayed here several times over the years and we will be back.
I don't recommend this campground. They refused to change my spot after I showed them all bugs right next to my RV.
Did not like the park at all. I was expecting something much different than a residential RV park. It was rated pretty high on the good Sam app for appeal. I guess, if you like looking at RVs because they are jammed in like sardines and that's all you can see. Really sorry I booked here and it is the worst RV park I've stayed in this entire 3 weeks that I've been on the road. Advice, find somewhere else to stay if you want appeal.
Absolut unfreundliche Besitzerin. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert !!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Absolutly the worst and rudest campground in the USA. (We visited a lot) Take no credit cards in 2016. We called before and nobody told us. We had to express our RV next day, nearly came too late because we had to get money to pay cash. As a day visitor you stay on an gravel place! Near by near. Because of the railway and the main street, you can get no sleep. The whole place looks like a slum. We felt quite unsecure. And with $ 43 too expensive, for comparison with others. Owner quite unfriendly. Absolutely not recommended !!!
We were treated very well. They were fully booked but let us stay in the owners driveway. 50 amps & water. Clean showers. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
A little cramped, but overall a nice RV park. The staff was great and I never had any issues. You can hear the train pass by often, but it’s not bad unless you’re picky or sensitive about a little noise. It is in the middle of town so don’t expect a wilderness experience.☺️
......but not too bad. Actually, we had a spacious site. Any along the outside, like #1 - 11 are good and wide! We thought it was relatively quiet considering it is in an urban setting.
