Wonderful spot overlooking the ocean. Not cheap. Clean bathrooms and full hookups. Extremely nice people.

Clean, promt, professional and people friendly all with great rates and true west coast beach view! I live in California and would go there just to enjoy the visit! Cheers! Chef Skipper

| Wonderful views, great location!

We stayed for 8 days. A little pricey, but you are definitely paying for the views and location. A little hard to cross the road to go to the beach, but your close enough you can hear the waves! Nice bathrooms, laundry area is okay. Lacking small children's play area. They only have a small slide for smaller children. The staff are not very friendly like some others have said in previous reviews. Overall clean, and well kept campground.

| Nice view from most spaces

Have to say that I'm between 3 and 4 stars on this because of price. Pros: - Personnel are very friendly and helpful. They were also able to get us 2 spots side by side a couple days before Labor Day weekend. - Bathroom and facility in general is very clean and well maintained. - Dog-friendly and have about 100 yards of nicely kept pet trails. - Nice little store with essentials. Cons: - Expensive at $155 a night including $3 per dog on Labor Day - Store hours are 9-9 so had to make my own coffee in the morning :) - Spots are generally not level within a few inches, but can be adjusted with drive-on blocks (which almost everyone was using) - In my spot, the sewer hookup was near the back of the space and my 20' hose barely reached when I backed all the way to the wall. - The dump line was higher than my hose connection at the RV making dumping slow and tricky. Hint: The mountain-view space we had was $120 cheaper than the ocean view, but still had a very nice viwe of the ocean!

A bit pricy (this is Malibu, where houses on the beach rent for $10,000 pet night!). Well kept up, with a great store. Beautiful views of the beach and you can hear the surf at night! Very helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely make this our new home in the LA area.

| Pricy!!

800 dollars for 3 nights on the 4th of July! No thanks. It's camping!!

| Amazing view

By user-5903882... on 2017-10-23.

Our site was not even, so our RV was a little tilted to the side, it was not very comfortable, also you can hear the cars from the highway but able to sleep at night. Otherwise very friendly staff, facilities are kept clean and well maintained and of course the great view to the ocean is priceless if you get a site on the frontside!

| Nice time

Stayed here and did the ocean overlook. It was great. My kids loved the views and so did I. The older couple were great at helping us. The younger evening, night crew was not so good. The view was worth the cost. Not the best bathrooms and iffy wife but clean and desent. Worth the cost for the view and quick walk to the beach. I would stay here again, just call ahead and don't over expect from the staff. Overall, very Nice!

| Most unfriendly park in the USA

By user-5909685... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2014-09-05 to 2014-09-08

We were seeing the USA in a rented Rv. Everywhere we went we meet such nice people in the USA. I do not know what we did to make these people so angry at us?? It was a most unfortunate end to a wonderful visit to America. Stay away from this place, not worth the headache!

| Nice campsite, friendly staff.

Prices between $44,50 and $80 per night are on the high side for the US, but average for the LA area.

| Nice place but a dangerous way down to the beach along the street.

| Excessively expensive for so little!

By user-6423370... on 2017-10-23.

Guess it is all about location, location. $100 dollars to be shoe horned into a spot. Bathrooms very unremakeable. Steep hill to get to Beach. Couldn't wait to leave.

This place has great views. We arrived on New Years Eve and were greeted with champagne and then a party later that night. There's a nice store, decent laundry, restrooms and showers. You get a discount at the funky seafood joint down the cliff trail if you don't fall. My only issue was that we realized later we were way over charged. Completely different price than we were quoted. So just be careful to have with you any email you've exchanged.

| Great views, Customer service personalities lacking

By user-5134786... on 2017-10-23.

Great views, and not many locations where the sun both rises and sets very the ocean (see if you can figure out why). Upon checking in, most things went fine, but we had received some info when we made the reservation that they wouldn't honor. Understand that things happen sometimes. But, one of the guys at the counter (Jordan) was coping an attitude and for all practical purposes told us to FO. Went back to the office later that day to get the wi fi password. When I asked, the guys response was along the lines of "It's on the white paper we gave you at check in". I pointed out to him that would all have been well and good if they'd actually given me a white piece of paper at check in. Neither alone are big things, but in just a short period of time upon arrival, Customer service attitude seemed to be lacking. The park itself is in fair shape, but showing some age, especially in relation to the overnight costs. Primarily paying for location and view. Keep in mi do that there are some very nice state parks for camping fairly close by.

Stayed here in late September 2016. The weekend we were there, the park was having a vintage TT get together.. This was kind of fun, but it did make for a crowded park! Our site had only electric and water, no sewer. Seemed strange, but it was fine as they have a nice, clean dump station (if a dump station can be nice!!) we used prior to returning home. Wanted to be in this area and there aren't any other choices, except apparently parking on the beach with no services. It is well maintained, restrooms are clean and seemed to be serviced regularly. We walked to both the beach and a good seafood restaurant. Would stay again if staying in this area.

The absolutely most unfriendly people on the planet. And it's not just them it's the whole neighborhood. The people at the 76 gas station down the street were rude and demanded our respect before they would give us a key to the bathroom. Really odd that people who are in the business of service would be so unfriendly. Stay away from Malibu Beach RV park and it's surrounding neighborhood.

| Great view

By user-5903206... on 2017-10-23.

This park is in a great location, awesome views of the ocean. Management needs improvement. We stay here at least once a year, but the kids can only ride bikes. No scooters allowed. That's fine but i have a kid that is special need and can't ride a bike. So he always feels like there is nothing to do. The game room is ping pong only or over priced and outdated arcade games. He's not interested in the view. We drive to Zuma beach which is great. It's clean and well cared for. It's a few miles down the road. We don't ever try to cross PCH Hwy. The seafood market and restaurant and the bottom of the hill had great food and fresh fish to take home and grill. We continue to stay because of the location but they really need new management.

| Great place, even for the $$$$

By user-5858718... on 2017-10-23.

Can't beat the views. We opted for the Premium Oceanview site (F/G) which was perfect for our 38' coach. The pricing is high ($200/night) but the place is very well maintained perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific. The staff was friendly and never bothered us. Seafood place is in walking distance. It was OK but definitely a tourist trap. We will definitely come back here.

| Nice park, friendly staff

Wonderfull park to stay on. Next to the beach. The bus wil stop in front of the entrance en it wil bring you to Santa Monica in 30 minutes. Good alternetive in stet of parking your Rv in the busy city! Restrooms and showers are ok. Wifi is good. But i think the park is too expansieve.

| Nice campground

By user-5202325... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed there just after we picked up our rental RV and two nights before drop off. Nice view of the ocean and better price than then the state parks with reservation. Clean facilities

View sells it. Cool shore breeze. Premium no better than lower level sites Good utilities Well maintained Good 24-hour security No pull-throughs Only back-ins at the premium $210 level Will throw in another slot for your tagalong Add 10% for tax Beach access difficult & across big highway A few shaded slots, not many. Ask. WIFI stops occasionally. No streaming.

| Price is way to high 144 dollar for 1 night

By user-6308644... on 2019-08-09.

What a price. Lying on the wrong site of the Highway. Access to the beach is much too steep. Highway crossing is riskant tour life. And the price is outregeous. 144 dollar for 1 night. (17th of August 2018).
