| Good location...friendly staff...Tight spaces

Marina Dunes RV Park is located just north of Monterey (7 miles) just off the ocean (walking distance to beach) and adjacent to the 101 freeway. Very convenient to CS Monterey, Monterey, Carmel, 17 mile drive, Laguna Seca Raceway and lost of great golf courses. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store, bathrooms, laundry facilities are clean and updated. The park road is a little tight for backing in to spaces, they do have a few larger sites...but not many. Larger Class A's and trailers may have some challenges negotiating the spaces. Reasonable rates for a beautiful area.

| OK, yet close to the beach

The bathrooms/showers are in terrible shape, so we didn't use them. They need a remodel for sure. The spaces are tight since the driveway is narrow. I'm a good backer-upper, and had to try at least 4 times to get our 33 ft into our space (could not pull forward since there were two car in the way). There are nice shrubs separating the spaces. Beach is a 10 min walk over fenced sand walkway. When you get there: WOW! Underpopulated, dog friendly and very worth the stay even tho the $75 a night was expensive for us.

Positiv: landscape, beach, dunes, electricity, firewood Negativ: wifi, very expensive 70$ per night, traffic 101,

Staff was very nice at check in. Spaces are secluded and level. The beach is just across the sand dunes. Nice board walk to the beach. Definitely will be staying again

| Good News/Bad News

The good news--it is a nicely landscaped park near a beautiful unpopulated beach. The bad news is the condition of the restrooms. I can understand some delayed maintenance, but there is no excuse for accumulated dirt and grime. Only one of the three shower stalls had a light. It's a real drawback for an otherwise nice RV park, although the $70 cost seemed excessive.

Very nice RV park. Large spaces, close to the beach, great bike and jogging trail. Freeway traffic might be a concern for some but you get use to it after 1 day. Nice midway point between Monterey Aquariam and Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Lots of golf courses.

Have stayed for past 8 months as a traveling nurse. Living in a 44 ft Phaeton and had no problem backing into my space. Love it here. Walking distance to the beach, bathrooms are renovated and in great shape. Parking is tight but greatly landscaped for privacy. Only possible drawback is next to Highway 1 which makes it easily accessible. It’s pricy but it’s California beach. Will return here when my job brings me back.

| Bedankt voor niets.

| Some spaces are tight

A small park near the Pacific Ocean if you don't mind walking about maybe three-quarters of a mile. Staff is friendly and helpful. The sites on the North end are very tight. I think I had the worst one. We stayed in a 31-foot class C and the site was only about 29 feet so the front end hung in the road. Not allot of parking for tow vehicles. Sites are mostly level. The shower and laundry facilities looked nice although we did not use them. Wi-Fi works really well. The electrical panel at our site was keeled over in about a 70% angle and there was no cover. Didn't look too safe. We'd stay here again because the area is so nice and quiet.

Great place, stayed only one night. Place is great, starting with making a call to reserve a place (probably last one), to whole experience. Kids friendly, pet friendly, highway noise is there, not bad, if you don t like it - Boondock... Price is very reasonable with AAA, Sams and Military. Will stay again

| Management is top shelf!

Current Managers have made a seamless transition from old to new owners. Many positive changes occurring for the benefit of travelers. New tent structures are well made and very cute. These are rented separately or due to location behind RV spaces can be part of one big party!! Safe and secure with local police providing periodic drive thrus. No homeless problem here.

Amazing place. Now I see why the are packed. It's literally right next to the beach. Took our dogs there and they had an amazing time. Restrooms and showers are well kept and up to date. Site has full hookup with picnic table and bbq. Weather was amazingly in the 60s summertime. Would definitely come back.
