This place is ok, sufficient for a weekend. But the COE parks nearby are much nicer. I consider this the overflow for the COE parks.
We love it here! It's pretty, has a boat ramp, dogs are welcome, friendly campground hosts who deliver firewood and ice to your site. Spacious sites, but electrical system is dated and cell service is challenging. Great bargain for the price. Close to the Mark Twain Museum, which has Mark Twain's childhood home inside! There's a playground, plenty of swimming, and moderate hiking trails. Community water spigots and dump station, no full hookups. We would love to come back!
