We went for the first time in August and we would go again. There was some ups and downs. No one was in the park office on arrival. A few people arrived at the same time and we were clueless what to do. Electric is available in some areas but no water. Not a huge problem. Each loop has 1 bath house. The women's side had 3 toilet stalls and 2 showers. The bathroom never got cleaned all weekend. It was quite nasty. The hand dryer was severely old no hand soap the whole weekend, the stall doors were just filthy. For a state park I expected a cleaner bathroom. The views are amazing and nice and quiet area. We had no problems with bugs. Camp sites are all nice and shades.
I camped in Loop B. 30amp electric, no water. The campsites are fairly large and the park is beautiful. Great kayaking. The trails are all fairly short and flat.
