40 foot class A is about the longest that will fit on the concrete pad. Narrow and tight to turn into but can be done. Lots of activities for the family. Two swimming pools plus the river to float.

Not big rig friendly. Were awakened early by mowers outside of motor home. Thought that was rude!

We've camped here 3 times this year. Clean, quiet and love we can be parked right on the river. Bathhouses are incredibly clean. Paved roads are great!

I would give them negative stars if I could. I have a dog with bladder cancer and needed a fence up so he can go out constantly to use bathroom. They said no, basically they don’t care. The managers - J and C Vr are very rude and condescending. Drive by constantly to be sure we aren’t doing anything wrong and we feel like prisoners here even though we aren’t bothering anyone. Management is so bad that a sweet elderly couple that works here quit this morning saying they are the worst managers ever and nothing they do is good enough. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. Nice campground but horrible staff. We can’t wait to leave.

| They hate pets

I would like to add: (One star but they deserve no stars) I met another couple camping for the night that also put a dog fence up. They had a 15 year old blind dog in a fence for its safety. Campground made them take it down as well even though they were sitting outside with their pet. Managers are still driving by constantly. Very nosy and no privacy. Worst campground we have ever stayed in. Only 4 more days until we can leave this concentration camp.

| Manager kicked us out

Standing outside looking at my phone, holding it up - the manager yelled at me asking if I was filming him. I was not - but after a week of constantly being watched by him and his staff, I said I was. He flipped a wig and started yelling at me, made a pretend phone call to his regional manager (who I had already called to complain to), then told me to “pack my sh*t and get out, you have 2 hours”. It was with great pleasure to depart that awful campground which felt more like prison. We moved to an absolutely beautiful state park where the people are super nice. So happy we got kicked out. We couldn’t pack fast enough. I feel sorry for the employees who have to work for people like that. Don’t go there. Read other reviews. Manager is a hot head who regularly kicks people out of the park for no reason. We are in our camper traveling for work more than we are home, spending a lot of time in campgrounds and keep to ourselves. We have never experienced treatment like that. EVER.

Very clean and friendly. We have been there 3 times. Very quiet at night and family oriented. It’s sad to see the 3 reviews, all by the same person I might add, run the place down. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences!

Worst campground ever stayed in. They drive by constantly watching you. Close your shades. Staff are very rude. We will never stay here again.

| Beautiful and friendly campground

This is a wonderful, family friendly campground. There are lots of cabins to rent (more than 50) and more than twice as many RV sites. The sites are concrete pads and level. Full hook ups or just electric and water available. There are two swimming pools, basketball court, volleyball court, disc golf course, a playground and golf carts for rent to use in the park. It is spacious and landscaped beautifully. The store has the basic needs covered and the campground manager is very helpful and friendly. There are activities scheduled in season (outdoor movies, themed weekends). We stayed here after the serious flooding of the Arkansas River which caused flooding along the Lower Illinois River and damaged some of the cabins. The campground manager and staff were working hard to accommodate the everyone whose reservation was impacted by the flooding and went out of their way to help everyone. This is a large campground but it feels cozy. I d stay here again in a heartbeat! Loved it. (Traveling in a 32 foot class A, towing a Jeep - no problems navigating the park).
