| It could have been worse!
The weekend we traveled was the hottest on record. We were happy to find a place to stop in the mid afternoon, turn up our A/C, and rest. Campgrounds we saw along the way (from Phoenix traveling west) were all on gravel or pavement. This park is still set up like a "parking lot", but it's mostly all grass. We even had a shade tree! We didn't explore the water, but this place would be ideal for water play and boats. Friendly staff. The park was far from full when we stayed. We have a small TT, so lots of room for us.

If you want a quiet, peaceful place to stay that's easy on your pocket book, Mayflower County Park in Blythe is the place to be. It's Beautiful here. However, there is a pet fee. They wave the fee for Service Animals. They have New Showers. New toilet rooms, a honey wagon that come by 3 times a week. 3 different dump stations on their property. The Eucalyptus trees keep most of the Mosquito's away,so, good call Staff! Recycling is done here, as well as a few social gatherings. Electric and water and dump truck all included in your rent. For Monthly, you will need to call. GREAT PLACE
