Loved the park. Not busy at all on Memorial Day weekend. Tons of birds throughout the day and you can hear the coyotes at night. Beautiful desert views. Playground for kids. Tons of mountain biking and hiking trails. No complaints. We will return someday.
We arrived and the campground was full however they had overflow parking and wanted to charge $20 to park for the night. We decided just to use the trails and then leave. We wanted to dump and the camp host tried taking $20 from us for just that and then followed us out after accusing us of skirting the system. Please even Pilot gas stations don't charge $20 for dumping. They seem a little snotty and pushy trying to get you to camp there.
Spectacular views. very very clean spots, well space out a lot of wildlife
