At 8000 foot above sea level, coming to the Mountain is a reprieve, the sites have a lot of space, and it is well maintained. Can't keep away....
| Dry camping with a view
National forest service maintained, clean with large sites. Fire pit, large picnic table, separate cook area for grill and additional charcoal free standing grills. sites fairly level with asphalt pads and cement eating areas. Clean restrooms. No water, dump station or electric available. Bring your own wood. Camp host very helpful in locating a non reserved space for us. elevation is 8000 ft so expect some shortness of breath with exertion.
