You need to bring about 10 gallons of bug spray, per person, with you when you come to this park. Scenery is absolutely remote and primitive. Check out the country store on the corner before you set up camp. This CG will be perfect for a late fall visit after the bugs have died off.
Facilities are a bit dated but sites are very nice. Office staff can be difficult to get ahold of - usually "on break" but friendly when there. Good place to stay when visiting Memphis.
This park was much older and less maintained than others I have visited. Many sites were smallish and would be tight w a camper of any size. Some good points - heavily wooded and pretty, hiking trails, lakes for fishing, etc.
