You have to have a reservation which in not mentioned above. Once there the instructions were confusing. No one answered the number they said to call for same day reservation. Camp host not around. I'm tired and hungry and very unhappy with this place!
Camped here many times & very quiet each time.This campground is our favorute out of the 4 campfrounds.on Lake Ashtabula. Giving it a 4 only because the mosquitoes & wood ticks can beb ad at times.
Their are 3 ways to get here 2 of them dirt road don't trust God make sure you are taking hwys 17&19 to get there it is paved road
Be sure to go into Valley City to 5th Avenue and find River Road, otherwise you will be on dirt roads. Several nice sites, but by Reservations Only. Right above the lake and dam. NW fish hatchery on River Road. Town has most things needed. We noticed a small RV park on Main Street. Pull thru sites are very tight, electric only sites, water at dump station.
