This is a beautiful campground. Totally redone. Brand new utilities and sewer hook ups. Super fast wifi. Gravel and level sites. Very quiet also. Camping at its best.

This was our first experience at this park and it was great. It's not a large park but if you are looking to relax or use it as a home base to explore Newport and the surrounding area it is great for that. The park is very clean and quiet and very well kept. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We didn't explore much of the whole park but it has all the basics you would need and some recreational areas, playground and sports court. Small office and store for ice, firewood, etc. and prices were reasonable. Laundry building also on site as well. There are 3 separate RV/camper sections here as well. Tent sites are separate from RV areas so you wouldn't know they were there. Site was level with stone with 20/30/50 amp receptacles, CATV hook up on the back, with bright night light that lit up the back of our unit and camp site nicely. Water and sewer were within feet of each other and seemed to be the rule at the other sites as well. WiFi right at the site as well. The largest RV section is very wooded so be prepared for leaves and shaded sites during the summer. We will be back for sure.

Park like, open areas mostly. Park on the grass Bring extra hose and extensions for most of the sites. You will need em. Quiet and convenient. A bit expensive for what you get. No sewer but that seems more the norm around here.

| Some good, some bad

The old section if fine, but the new premium pull through sites are horrible. Site are so close that the fire pits are only a few feet from the back of the next camper. Sites are a total of 35 feet wide.

The place is nice, but the price of $ 85 is too expensive. !!!

Quiet park just off Rt 114 and about 15 min. from downtown Newport. Camped in a 38 fifth wheel and had just enough room. Some sites would have been too small, but there were a number sites that also could have accommodated us. FHU backin site with 50 amp, good water pressure, cable and decent free WiFi. Lots of well trimmed trees really adds to the setting. Stayed in the old section. We would definitely stay here again.
