We stayed here for an overnight stop, we arrived late but paperwork was easy to follow, easy setup.. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again when in the area. A little confusion on the exits and turn arounds, but during the daylight, its not too bad.
Ok stop, staff was friendly. Confusing to get to comming from the south. Most KOA's are old and not keeping them up.... $55.....we try to avoid them, over priced!
Friendly staff, close to Memphis, TN, but bring much bug spray. The mosquitoes are huge, you wont/can't sit outside if the wind isn't blowing and the sun isn't up unless you want to get eaten alive. Also, Arkansas has the most dangerous/stupid off ramps known to man. Park is confusing to get to and probably won't stay here again. EVER!
The tang of barbecue, the beat of the blues, the home of the King. Memphis...whats not to love? This KOA is 15 minutes from the buzz of Beale Street, birthplace of the blues. Book a tour at the campground-dont miss Elvis Presleys Graceland. Check out museums such as the National Civil Rights Museum, Rock n Soul Museum and Cotton Museum. Be sure to see the Peabody Hotels Marching Ducks. With easy on/off access at I-55 Exit 14 and a convenient location 7 miles north of I-40, its easy to make this KOA your destination or a stop along the way. Pull through into a shaded big-rig site with free cable TV or stay in a Camping Cabin. Free Wi-Fi. Dip in the pool, throw horseshoes and play a game on KOAs giant chess/checkers set. Check out the Kamp K9 dog park. Youll love the area as much as Elvis did!
