Website quotes price as $16-$17.00 per night. Actual cost was more than double. Looks great for kids. Plenty of things to do for all ages. Wife and I pulled in only to sleep and disappointed with paying so much for eight hours of sleep.
Some of the gravel roads by campsites are washed out. Campsites aren't level. They have 3 swimming pools, the largest is full of green water the middle size pool is full of bugs, the baby pool is good. Only one 50 amp service pull through site available.
Family and I stayed here for two nights, surprised how low-class this place is. Many facilities were run down or not functioning, pool filter was not working and had clumps of hair floating in water. This local place drew lots of bad characters which did not feel safe for my family and our two children. I regularly camp, but this place was like a setting of a horror movie. The playgrounds were nice.
My family and I love this place because of all the activities it has for kids/teens, which we have. It does need work and a lot of TLC but it does have friendly staff and they do try....I would love to see them do some up keep....little pricey. 3 stars for activities, friendly staff and members. -2 stars because lots are washed out and it does need maintenance around various places.
With past reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. Being affordable, we gave it a try. So glad we did! Super friendly staff and the "members" were very welcoming. You can tell immediately that they are doing improvements and updates. Plenty of activities for the kids this weekend and I'm positive we'll be back again this summer after seeing the activities planned for the summer. They cater to kids and adults as well as families. Two firework shows planned for this summer, my kids can't wait to come back!
Bad-bad. Roads bad-washed out. Sites unlevel. Poor elect connection. $38/night. I camped here in a Class A motor hone.
We pulled our 5th wheel in and was greeted immediately by very friendly staff. Throughout our weekend stay there was a kids carnival and a Haunted Trail. The kids stayed entertained the entire weekend. Beautiful lake and the fishing kept my husband busy! We were surprised at how welcoming the "regulars" are. They invited us to the adult center Saturday evening and had a great time with some good people! I highly recommend this place and we'll be coming back next season.
I was expecting something horrible considering the reviews. Friendly staff and guests. Felt like we were being welcomed by family. Night watch was very helpful. Lodge has wifi which we used. Was nice to get out of the RV and use the laptops in the lodge and watch TV by the fire. Peaceful and quiet. Just what we needed.
Very large campground with beautiful pools and also a lake. We only did needed a site overnight but looks like a great spot for kids. Nice host, Travis. Good laundry facilities. Washroom were dated. Free wi-fi at the office which has a nice set up with a TV, arcade, and comfy seating. Abit pricey for overnight but it is a lovely campground. Our GPS took us on a cow path to get there by taking exit 230....the correct exit off hwy 44 is 210. Lesson learned...ask which exit and how much when calling ahead. A swim in the pool was lovely after a hot day on the road.
Everyone was so helpful and friendly ! Facilities were clean and the campground was rustic and beautifully picturesque ! Definitely will be staying there again !!
