On the way to San Francisco we found this place. In the immediate vicinity of the highway (loud) is the RV Park. Large trees provide shade. Unproblematic and friendly registration. Boss had worried that I can not park backwards with our 27ft RV and therefore came with a Golfcart and was very worried. ;-)
We scheduled a one night stay. I was aware of the cancellation policy. But due to a wildfire in Pollock Pines, my home, had to cancel our trip to get home and salvage what we could. All our other RV parks were so sympathetic and went out of their way with our reservations. All, made concessions to refund our deposits and wish us well. Would not stay here or recommend this park. Rules are rules, but when somebody is about to lose their home, you'd think the establishment could be a little flexible with their policy!
Remote location next to freeway. Back half of the park dedicated to permanent residence but not an issue. Front half has back in and pull thru. We have 42 foot Diesel Pusher with tow car. No problem getting in. Full hookups, strong 50 amp, good water and cable. A few trees so couldn't get Satellite to work. River is low here and not usable. Close to Turlock, Modesto. Pool and pool area is extremely clean and well cared for. At 35.00 a night plus they give a Good Sam discount, we'll be back.
I'm really getting upset with the misuse of the word "resort". This park is not even close, dirt spaces & hard to get into. Cut our stay to one night only & that's one night too much. I would never stay here again. We were here in August 2016.
I wrote the review... I forgot to mention We gave them 5 days notice, not the 7 they require.
Don't let them fool you. This place is only good for an expensive overnight stay.
Almost didn't try it but glad we did. Very nice Dog park. Grounds clean and quiet. Yes some freeway noise Didn't try cable our antenna worked fine parked under huge shade trees . It's a Good Sam club park on river edge Will definitely stop on our way back
This place is really nice. Excellent Indian food at Punjabi Sweets in Livingston- I walked there. Well stocked little store, if noone answers the phones, they'll get back to you. We just showed up due to weather, no problem getting a pull through spot. Gravel and grass, full hookups, no complaints. Pretty river view.
