Reviews for Meridian East / Toomsuba KOA

| Just perfect for our overnight stay.

By user-5906247... on 2017-10-23.

We made a reservation for a pull through spot which they had ready for our late arrival. Our site was level and easy to maneuver in and out of. Guests were friendly (but not overly chatty) to make small talk with and the host/shopkeeper was polite with a warm smile. Didn't need to use facilities so I can't comment on them. Only one star deduction based on price but since this was our first Koa experience, we're unsure if that's standard. We definitely would spend another night here if we pass through the area again.

Patk is Gay Friendly! Camp host was great, level site that was easy to pull thru. Clean restrooms and shower was great. Was a little pricey, with my KOA membership it was 41.41 a night. Very quiet park.

| Not very nice or worth the price

Very disappointing campground. Our site was unlevel cracked up cement. and was littered with cigarette butts. The location offers nothing and the facilities are mediocre. They charge a premium price for an average or below campground. We have stayed in campgrounds across the US, but have never payed so much for so little. It's a place to spend the night if you're too tired to drive any further.

Good place to stop for an evening. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Site was long and fairly level. Very quiet park. Paid $44 for one night, which is the most we have paid ever, but we've never stayed at a KOA before. Definitely would stay again. Also, there is a Loves truck stop on the same exit so that's great for refueling on the way out!

| RV STAY

This was our first experience with KOA and we were terribly disappointed with the facilities in Toomsuba MS. We book this trip for one month stay and wished we hadn't done that as KOA does not refund money even if facility is poor. Showers and laundry facilities were dirty and half the dryers were not operable our entire stay. Dog droppings everywhere and people just let their dogs run wild and unattended. Don't pay for extra internet service because it does not work. Only plus was our rv site in the woods. Would not recommend this location and think KOA should bring this location up to better standards.

| Rude management no internet nor OTA TV, a true dump, busted up sites

By user-6433255... on 2018-03-14.

$44 for a brokem up site, no internet, and when I called the office he called me a liar and told me since he had internet it was working. Maybe in his little head but reality is reality. I promise I will never be back, if I can get vack across the 6,000# rated bridges between the interstate and here.

| Very nice campground

Stayed overnight in a 40 fi Motorhome with a tow vehicle attached, spot was level, management was very nice and accommodating, no tv cable but got lots of channels with the antenna, have a nice game room would definitely stay again

| Good Overnight Stay

KOA campground with typical amenities. Trees, gravel drives, no patio, very narrow sites between rigs. Does have small tables. Quiet. Water and electrical were good. Would stay again. 4 star rating because of narrow sites and ants.

This is a wonderful KOA. No trains going by, no traffic sounds, and shade at every site. The hosts were wonderful! Very accommodating and informative of all the amenities. There is a 550 foot long water slide as well as a very nice pool. There are new owners since the bad review was written. Definitely worthy of a stay. Wish we had more than one night!
