Friendly staff; bath house old but very clean; very convenient for visiting 1000 islands area. Transient area parking near the top of hill is nicely level because of concrete or wooden spot for tires; gravel patio area nice touch. Beautiful view of St. Lawrence if you are outside RV. We camp n a 16' travel trailer.
Finally a 1000 Islands area RV park that felt like a park. Best transient sites are on gentle hill overlooking the St Lawrence. The only place for the serene traveler in this area.
This is a nice, family owned campground. Owner escorted us to site. On a hillside looking down to the St. Lawrence. Hook-ups all worked. Laundry was laughable, machines expensive and you have to put 2 quarter in 2 of the slots. Never seen before, but once figured it out, worked okay. Bathrooms adequate. Town of Clayton is lovely, part of the US Thousand Islands area. Only stayed 1 night because on way to Ontario, Canada. Great main street. We will return here for longer period.
