Stopped by for two nights. Close to Cedar Point and right off turnpike. Although a little older, everything is clean and very well kept. Great condition pool. Playground with basketball, shuffleboard, billiards inside. Four nice shower stalls in the bath house closest to us. Very well thought out sites with shade trees on every site. Almost all pull thrus. Make sure to visit Thomas Edison birthplace tour 10 minutes south and the Tofts ice cream plant to get some of the best ice cream I have eaten 15 minutes north on Venice road. Would stay here again. Super nice owners. We went up to office at 8:25am to see what time they open ( 9:00am) and the owner was there 45 minutes early just opening up.
Good place to spend a night between Cleveland and Chicago. Easy on/off interstate. Campground has gravel, level sites and is surrounded by places to eat and to shop for basic necessities, if needed.
Seen better days. Grass is overcoming the gravel sites. It's for sale if you're looking. $38/day for 50 amp with Good Sam discount.
We ended up going to this park because Summit raceway park was out of power spots and they were only 10 minutes away. We spent two nights surprisingly very quiet being right off of 250 and the turnpike. The staff were very welcoming and the park was clean and tidy. This park is also about 10 to 15 minutes between Summit raceway park and Cedar point.
Nice park not too close to the turnpike, maybe a mile. The site was a pull thru. Bathrooms were clean. If you have a tall motor-home there is a large branch on the northern most road that will scrape your roof, you can see it was cut off less than 12 feet off the ground, . Luckily i saw it and moved over so it didn't rip anything off the roof, but the sound it made was not fun. It would not have been pretty if it hit the sat or air conditioner.
Be sure to only accept a location far away from the motel next door. It seems to be a hangout for all the local Idiots, who come and go all night, squealing tires, and revving engines. The police were called at one am, when fireworks were set off behind the motel. Otherwise, I agree that it is a nice established park, with some signs of age. Safe travels!
Nice park just off the toll road (80). Big sites with full hookups. Train near by but did not bother us. Great for a one night stay while traveling across Ohio. Would stay again.
