A wonderful CCC constructed State Park in the piney woods of Texas. There is even an original section of the El Camino Real trail through the park.
Beautiful park with lots of easy trails. Camping area was heavily wooded. Many sites were very sloped and few would accommodate big rigs. Tent sites were very nice with level pads. The bathroom/shower was on top of a steep hill from the campsites. It was very clean with nice hot water. Caddo Mounds State Historic Site was about 7 miles east. It was an interesting place to visit with a very informative museum and walking trails.
