This is a state reservoir campground. It is located in a flood plane. Therefore, they don't invest too much into it like a pool or nature center. Pros: Full hookup sites and Wifi available in areas. There is a few playgrounds, a couple of basketball goals and a volleyball net. Modern restrooms and showers along with primitive restrooms placed throughout. 2 picnic tables and a fire ring are at each site. It is quiet and peaceful in a rural setting around the reservoir. Cons: Very few RV pads and sites are level. Seems like everyone needs to bring an obnoxious barking dog. Trees are hit and miss as far as shading your site. Some branches a very close or over the pads. They did remove a lot of trees in 2015 to improve problems but now there are less trees. There is a beach area near the campground, but severe algae warnings have been in affect for the last few years. It is a nice area but do not expect activities and things to do like a regular state park.

Very large with many sites. Some level some not and few trees for shade. The trails are nice and with a beach and public access water lovers will enjoy it too. But showers and toilet facilities are aged and semi clean. I was charged $25 a night plus entrance fee in 2015. I would not seek this out.
