Look out your window and you think you are in the New River Gorge. Tall trees all around. We stayed two nights ($12 each) on one of their tent sites. 20 amp service. But we are in a 19' Roadtrek so it was perfect for us. Lots of room too. Verizon was weak and the showers could use a good cleaning Pretty rustic too. The petrified Forest trail was interesting and the displys in the visitor center we're very cool.. but we love rocks and stuff... Very friendly people, a quiet cheap place to spend two days in the woods There were some bigger sites too but not many.
Small park but with a great big field of grass in front for walking dog. Seems like most folks have permeant sites with a couple for shorted stays, very quiet small park
