Bring ant killer and spray your site when you arrive. Lake is GREAT!!! Great biking and hiking. Beautiful scenery.

Most sites have water views. This is the quietest and cleanest state park we have been to. Not a lot to do nearby. Have to drive to everything, but it is so beautiful here it is worth it. If you have base access, there is a rec area with full hook up camping on the lake also. We stayed in December. Ants were not a problem, but we hear in the summer they are awful.
I made a reseration for a handicped spot (66) a month ahead of time. When we arrived someone else had set up on spot. If rangers would have left the office and check on reserved spots (all handiapped) ths would not have happened. Front office had a "no big thing" attitude. Seleted an almost level sot eswhere. Do not count on a handicped spot being reserved.
