Gravel roads with grass. Surrounded by fields so is quiet. Is a mile from I 90. Nice trees but was still able to use satellite dish. Verizon has 2 bars. Tornados were very close by. Management said they were watching and would warn everyone in the park to take shelter if need be. They do have a storm shelter. Nice pool. Small putt golf for free. Did not use bathrooms. Small store. Would come back.
Stayed here for two days while visiting Mitchell attractions. Staff friendly, quiet even on a Friday night with most sites occupied, and pull thru space we were in was plenty big for 35' RV with tow vehicle.
Not the typical play place for kids. Quiet, lots of trees, exceptional WiFi.
This is a bit better than the typical KOA but has a lot of the same pros and cons. The Pros: Great helpful staff with escort to your site, all pull thrus, FHU, strong WiFi, pool, mini golf, tornado shelters around the park. Far enough from I-90 to mitigate traffic noise, nice rural area but close enough to town for shopping and restaurants, lots of mature shade trees. The Cons: High price, sites way too close together, barely enough room to open an awning, they advertise 1 OTA channel but I couldn t pick it up and no cable TV. If you don t have satellite TV, you are out of luck here. Given all that, it is an okay short stay if you don t mind the price.
