This one and the other campgrounds on this lake! No pets... this would explain why they have over 50+ campgrounds available on a weekend!
No the website doesn't match. l This is a really nice spot. Newly paved. We brought our 34 ft trailer in here. Nice spots with hill side forest, paved pad is wide enough for trailer and the sites are roomy. Overlooking big lake. 1-1.5 hrs into Yosemite Valley. Just a warning, this campground doesn't allow dogs.
On a trip from GA visiting Yosemite with no reservations and found this great park on Don Pedro Lake. Only complaint is 30 amp service only. Sites were not level but paved with full hookups. Spent our day in Yosemite so we didn t hang around the park, just needed somewhere to sleep. Gate is open 24 hours so you can arrive anytime if a site is available. Called for more information and was given lots by a very friendly representative.
Not crowded mid-week. Nice paved spots with full hook ups. Ok bathrooms with good showers. Only downer is the amount of litter on the ground. Otherwise this is a very nice stop
