| Great Quiet Stay with Games!

Visited here during the later part of June 2018, with a 42 fifth wheel, and was in Site 43 (50amp/FHU). The park consists of 57 sites, of which 29 are pull-thru and 28 are back-ins all of which are 50/30/20amp/FHU. The RV park roads are blacktop and the sites are packed gravel and include a picnic table and fire ring, there s even a dump station for those not staying in the park. The park is very shaded with tall trees that have been cut back to where our big fifth wheel has no issues. The OTA television reception wasn t the best to say the least, we did get five channels but we couldn t hold the signal very well and our AT&T cellular service was weak, even sometimes nonexistent. The park is ran by the casino hotel front desk and has a patrolling security guard day and night. Daily rates ranged from $29 Sun-Thur and $39 Fri & Sat which included a daily $10 free play. Outside of the casino games offered there is a 18-hole golf course nearby as well as boating, fishing and hunting opportunities and the occasional casino sponsored show. On the casino grounds they offer a couple dining choices, a salon/spa, car wash and fuel/convenience store. The park is located approximately 45 miles east of Wausau and 18 miles northwest of Shawano (closest Walmart). We would stay here again if in this area. It is so very tranquil and relaxing as the park never seemed to have more then 20 rigs during our stay. I would have gave it a higher rating if OTA and cellular service was better.

There weren't many reviews, but the two that were here were positive. The sites are dirt. Most look to be groomed and pretty level. The one that we were assigned to was not one of the better sites. It was very quiet here as we were one of maybe four occupied sites. Security came through periodically. Verizon service was good. No WiFi. There was a cable TV hookup, but it was dead. We got 5 over the air channels. Sewer hookups are raised and on the little island between the sites. My opinion is that the campground is adequate for an overnight stay, but is nothing exceptional. Not surprisingly, the casino is very smokey. They have one non-smoking restaurant.
