If you like to be surrounded by nature and hiking/biking trails, this is a great spot. The campground is in a canyon, so it doesn't get the full sun, but you are close to the cliffs, trails and beach. The only amenities are provided by Mother Nature.
If your a hardcore RV'r this might be a little primitive…no hook ups etc. this is however one of the most beautiful spots on the central California coast. The campground is tucked back from the beach in a canyon. campsites are on the small side ( for giant rv's) but still very nice overall just a great place to hang out for a few days.
We checked it out today for a future visit. Two water tanks on site with very little pressure. Be sure to fill your water tanks and bring drinking water. Vault toilets with no showers on site. No dump station. I understand that you have to drive about fifteen minutes to Morro Bay State Park to dump. There are lots of walking trails but most don't allow dogs. The beach is a short walk or drive and it is beautiful. The toilets and at least one campsite are wheelchair accessible. There is a 27' maximum length for all RVs.
