All sites are spacious and level with lots of space between. They also have spots for 2 campers/ rigs to support groups or families w multiple units. Area is wooded and beautiful. Grounds and bath houses are well maintained. Entire park is magnificent! Great hiking trails, mountain biking, etc.
Loving the green of the trees and the quite. Poison ivy but it is a state park. Lots of sites! No traffic noise! 30amp & water - dump station. Paid $32 first night $24 second night. 8 miles from Space & Rocket Center & Botanical Gardens. I will stay here again! Try to come in from 431 south of the park. Northern route from 565 has length limits of 30'. I made it with my 31' MH with toad but I had one hairpin turn that was tight.
Great park, very quiet at night, patrolled by park host and rangers often. Lots of families and joggers. I didn't give it 5 stars because it really needs a pool. I know there's one a few miles away, but that's a 100 miles away to someone with kids and no bikes/extra vehicle.
Definitely a nice state park. Hiking is plentiful but we only stayed one night and couldn t do all the trails. The sites were nice and most were pretty level. The bathrooms are clean and each site has a fire pit. You can see your neighbors but most were families and not loud drinkers. :( Some of the trees are low and will clip the bigger class A type RVs. If you visit, it s a must that you enter the park off the rt 431 south entrance. RVs will not be able to make the hairpin turn on the north entrance but it seems that your GPS will try and take you that way for some reason?
Lots are nice size so your not right on top of your neighbor
