We spent the night at Montgomery South RV Park and were very satisfied with our stay. Our site was a very long pull-through site that was fairly level. The hookups were well placed and worked well. The owner couldn't have been more friendly. He walked me down to the site before I pulled in and pointed out the most level portion of the site. The campground is a short distance off of I-65. There was some highway noise but it was not an issue. The wifi worked very well. There are very few trees so we had no trouble getting a satellite signal.
Was looking for a overnight spot halfway home from NC called on Friday and was looking for 2 sites talked to Jim and said he had 2 available didn't ask for a deposit even though I offered. Saturday during our drive he called a couple times to check on us just to make sure we were on our way, he stayed later than usual and waited on us, upon arriving took care of paperwork and walked us to our sites made sure we didn't need anything else. Level gravel pull thru sites as stated road noise not a problem would recommend if your passing thru Montgomery and need a place to stop over this is the place.
Stopped in for a night on way back to Georgia. Nice level spot that was long enough for 30 foot and truck. Didn't have to unhook. Awesome bathhouse and showers. Staff was awesome to boot. We will make this a regular stop.
Stayed overnight. Super Friendly staff! Level sites. Will stay again when passing through.
Travingling from NC to New Orleans, needed an overnight stop. Got in a Little late but Jim called me and said which site to take. Level sites with lots of room. Very clean bathrooms. People that posted about hwy noise and train noise are being petty, wasn't an issue. Will stay here again if needed. Thanks Jim.

Have stay a couple of times driving from Atlanta southbound. Good safe clean overnight. Nice folks.
Nothing fancy, but facilities are very clean. Roads and pull throughs gravel but level. Staff very friendly. It's setting is rural and far enough off I-65, so road noise minimal. Easy 15 mile drive into downtown Montgomery. Would definitely stay here again.
Good overnight spot. Gravel lot, grassy area with picnic table and fire pit. Clean restrooms and showers. Nice laundry. Jim is fantastic. Only drawback is it is right on the highway.
Traveling north we needed an overnight place to stay. We had never stayed here but will again. Owner gave great directions and was very nice when we called. We got there after dark, he had us follow him to site, he helped us park and made sure all was good. It's a new park and you can tell he's working hard to make it nice.
Well kept park just off the highway, but not too close to be bothered by road noise. Staff very pleasant and helpful. All in all, a perfect stay. Will definitely find this again on our way North. Thank you.
Found this campground by chance. They were full when we arrived but since they are in the process of expanding, they let us stay on a very level unfinished site with complete accommodations. The owner introduced himself right away. Extremely friendly personnel. Would surely stay if I visit this area again.
Loved this place. We planned on a 2 days stop but ended up staying 47 days due to an accident with our truck. Jim, the owner, couldn't of been nicer. They helped us with faxes, moved our camper for us and just very caring. The staff and grounds keeper (Jim) were always so pleasant and friendly. Made lifetime friend with Jim and his wife Barbara, such good company. The grounds are well kept, has picnic tables and grass between sites. Unfortunately it has full view of the highway and there is noice at night but I would still recommend , it is a great location to stay and drive into Montgomery, Selma and Prattvill.
Spent two nights at the park in route to New Orleans. Very nice park, friendly staff. Close to I-65, near a railway and airport, but reasonably quiet. Will be staying there again next week.
Nice people. Clean and easy access. Only reason not 5 stars is because of the train and interstate noise. But great for a night or two.

Nice campground. Easy off/on I65. Level gravel sites. Because of location with interstate noise didn't give a higher rating. We were just here overnight with a 43 and tow. Nice long Pull through sites. Would come back. Owner very nice and accommodating.
Jim, the owner, is fantastic! Hospitality plus! Rv sites, cabins and a little store. Right off of I65 great for easy on easy off. 2 gas stations at that exit. Love s gas also has Godfathers pizza and chicken for an easy meal.
The entire park smelled absolutely horrible- like sewage. Just gag inducing. Also, very little space in between sites, not really a place to let the dogs out and stretch their legs.
Stopped in just for the night, very pleasant young lady checked me in and showed me my site. Yes. You can hear the highway but it's not all that bad compared to other parks I've been. The private full bathrooms are great. Huge shower lots of hot water and very clean. And for $36 a night it's a deal and well worth it.
This well kept park has all the amenities we were looking for with great showers and reliable wifi. Close to the highway yet not too loud. Southern hospitality at its finest - make it your next stop!
Nice folks, Southern Hospitality and great bath facilities. We spent one night here while traveling through. It is my understanding that the ownership changed sometime this year. Our site was lengthy & level. The utilities were reliable. Use a water pressure regulator since unlike so many parks the pressure is on the high side. The WiFi is usable, but nothing to shout about. My estimate is that the vast majority of guests here are long-term, so the available transient sites may be hard to book at some times of the year. I'd return here again for a short stay.
Great RV Park. Stayed one night on the way north. Owners were super nice and very helpful. Very clean and will definitely stop again when in the area. The park was quiet even though located just off of I-65. this is a good Sam park so ask for the discount if you are a member.
Nice little campground. Some noise from interstate but campground itself was quiet. Owners made sure we were taken care of and were extremely friendly. AL Safari Park is right up the road so if you get a chance stop by. Definitely worth going to!
We stayed at this park for two nights. Originally were only staying one but liked it so much we added a day. The sight was level and clean. We had Dish satellite and WiFi for free. The showers and laundry room were immaculate and air conditioned! The owner realized our two year old boxer really needed to run and took us to the field adjacent to the property and let our dog chase him while he drove his cart. My dog even rode in the cart with him. Completely relaxing stay;highly recommend!
