| Dry Camping around the small lake

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

Only stayed one night, because we were traveling. Very quiet. All sites are dry camping, generator hours are 6am to 10pm, although we didn't bear any in the an until around 9am. Camp sites are either right on the water or across the dirt access road from the water, but with the exception of the tenting area, there is no site between you and the water. Saw several alligators in the water. The camp host said there were 6 or 7, but we only saw 3-4 of them. There are 2 rest rooms in the campground. The Eastside one has composting toilets, one each male/female. The westside one has multiple flush toilets, plus a sink outside for washing dishes. There is water available at the westside restrooms if you want to fill your water tank. There is no dump station in the campground.
