We stayed at week in our 36ft motorhome, good power, good WiFi, clean park with nice owner. Good location for us to visit area sites and we thought a good price,

Seems to have a lot of poor folks living here. Has no amenities. They are working on it so perhaps be ok in a few years

| Overcharged and no cable

The place is very minimal. I called for a reservation and I got one night under Passport America and the second with Good Sam's. I was quoted the price of $44.80 for two nights and that s what the paperwork said, but the woman that collected our money charged us $48.80. We spent a couple of hours trying to get cable TV to work and called the owner a couple of times. The next morning we were told it takes a box and all of them are being used and if someone turned one in they would bring it over. They are nice people but they need to get their act together.

| Nice people working on making it better

Easy overnight spot. All gravel back ins, so not very level. Full hookups, 50amp only. They no longer take Passport America, but do take Good Sam. Very nice people. Most of the RVs there are older. They're working on building a community center. Currently laundry facilities- $1.50 wash, same to dry. Recommend it as an overnight stop. Near New Bern and couple hours drive to OBX.

Check in was confusing. The site we were assigned to was taken so we got another site. We only received our good Sam discount in the 1st night. There seem to be a ton of long term residents but they were nice. The fenced dog area was lovely! Our site was a made up new site and all the sewer lines are above ground/ covered with sand, so uphill. We didn t have a picnic table but I didn t have time to request one. Lot was not level but I figured it out. Amenity barn is only open 8:30a-5p which did us no good because we spent the days with local friends. Our site was small and on our last 2 days they parked another site on top of us. The bath house was lovely and private. All in all we will be back because location was close to friends in granrsboro but it leaves a lot to be desired.
