Kind of tight driving through but worth it. Stay many times and always look forward to going back.

| Very nice and shaded campground

While some of the sites are a bit tight, our specific site was spacious and backed up to a very pretty mountain creek. The bathhouses are the cleanest that I have ever seen in a campground. There is Wi-Fi only at the office, and you can use it for 15 minutes. Very spotty cell service as well. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous with many residing in the campground on seasonal sites. The campground is very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Make sure to visit nearby Waynesville and Sylva. Very nice mountain towns.

| Great creek!!

Nice campground lots of trees and a great creek! Very clean like new bath house. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived after hours due to a vehicle delay and they had someone greet us and help us get in our site as campground is very dark at night. No cell or wifi, even at the office, but great way to unplug and relax. Cable very limited but okay. Definitely stay again!!

| Nice place

We stayed from 8/6/16 thru 8/13/16 It was nice and clean... But as been mentioned, VERY tight to get in... We have a 36' class A and we brushed against many trees getting into the campground and our site. Because we left early in the morning and returned later in the evening, we really didn't have much time to "experience" the place... but the people were friendly and the place was clean... and the price was very reasonable.. All around, we were happy !!!

| Most sites shaded on high mountain valley creek

I don't think I've fallen asleep faster or slept better in a while. Listening to the cold clear water cascading over the rocks in the creek was heavenly. Mature White Pine, Oak, Poplar Chestnut, and Maple trees shading full hookup sites with Rhododendron TREES complete with their white flowers in bloom, hanging over the creek and along the roads. Nicely landscaped sites and grounds, very picturesque. No "swimming" area for kids but they can play in the creek. Staff was helpful, bathrooms were modern and clean, almost fancy. Narrow winding roads to campground including a really tight switch back over the railroad tracks at Balsam Depot. If you aren't sure of your driving skills with a long rig I wouldn't plan on staying here.
