Great little campground. Quiet and lots of space between sites. They only really cater to adults and older kids(teens) the wifi here is very strong. Our 15 year old was a happy camper. Lol. Great for an overnight stay. Welcoming staff. Plus there showers were the best we had so far - clean and free
What a nice little campground. The only spot for our rig was a premium site because the other 50 amp sites were taken. I'm so glad cause this site was worth the extra we paid. Friendly people, site on the Moose River. Had use of their gas grill, free firewood and newspaper each day. The whole campground is very well maintained and cute moose decorative everywhere. This had to be the best one we have stayed during our year of full timing. We will be back. We loved it. Site 23 is wonderful!!!! Any site is good.
We stayed overnight on Mother's Day weekend. This is a quiet little campground--some seasonals, but everyone very friendly and sites were well kept. We had a back in site next to the river. Hookups worked well. On Mother's Day, the owners made breakfast for everyone, and had flowers for all the moms. Really nice touch that made this a place we'd return to.
We discovered a gem staying here for two nights. Small, well maintained with beautiful landscaping. We had a great site next to the water. Owners were extremely nice and pet friendly.
We loved our stay here. Beautiful site on the river with full hookup. Exceptionally clean, dog friendly and the people are very nice too. Wi-Fi worked well. Laundry facilities were clean and reasonably priced. It was very quiet. We will be back! We loved it!
Well kept & staff & on site owner very friendly & helpful. They had a 5 page handout listing restaurants, attractions, scenic drives, etc. our site was on the river with fire ring & picnic table. I would highly recommend Moose River & definitely stay here again.
Whether you are in Class A Coach or Class C or 5th wheel, travel trailer, or tenting or renting a Cabin Moose River Campground is the most well run, clean, scenic and tranquil park I've ever stayed out. My 30 foot camper site was perfect to1/4" so there was no leveling. Hook ups were right there.

We loved this campground! We were in site 12 next to the river, it was fair size. Some of the other sites were spacious. The bathrooms were very clean. The owners were very nice and had put together a pamphlet of very useful information. They also had a pamphlet called The Belly Ache Tour. It took you to a lot of interesting places. We will definitely be coming back.
This is an awesome campground. Great owners, friendly and helpful. Fun campground, Moose items everywhere. Clean, well kept campground. Loved being on the river. I didn't care what the weather was, I was out with a fire staring at the river every day. We've been all over the country, more than once, Experienced our share of campgrounds Hands down, this is the best we've ever been to. If you have a chance, don't pass this one up.
A great campground located on the banks of the Moose River. Great for dogs and big enough for pull throughs. They know how to run a campground. On our list of definite campgrounds to return to.
