This is close to the interstate for EZ off, EZ on. Have camped close to interstates before but this time the noise was bad. This is an old KOA campground with permanents on one side and the campground is on the other, although there were a lot of long timers in the campground also. Site wasn't level, gravel roads with lot of potholes. Stayed here in a Motorhome with full hookups so didn't need to check out the shower and laundry facility, but host said you had to go thru bathrooms to get to the laundry. WiFi and water pressure was good. Paid $30.04 with GS discount. Would stay here again in an emergency if had to.
Nice park, easy access. Only negative is that it is very close to I-40 and quite noisy. Must have been train track in vicinity also.
This park is packed very tightly with campers. There are also cars and trucks everywhere making it impossible to move your RV at all. This along with the hairpin turns make it nearly impossible to navigate around. This is not the place to stay for anyone other than full-timers that do not want to move ever. The lots are so unlevel that our jacks are maxed out and we still aren't level. Also, the place is FULL of potholes. Not potholes that shake the RV a little bit but pot holes so large that you would likely need to be jacked out of them. I would not recommend this park to ANYONE! On a positive note, the staff was very nice and accommodating on the phone.
Did not return phones calls. Wasted time getting off interstate to drive through this junk yard . How does KOA and Goodsam endorse this place. Beware of gigantic pot holes!
